Dr Dorfman

Dr. Dorfman has been an Orthodontic Specialist in the Tidewater area since 1982. After graduating with the clinical proficiency award from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, he completed two full years of specialty training in orthodontics at the University of North Carolina. Dr. Dorfman is also a specialist in Periodontics, having completed the specialty program at the University of Washington. He has served on the faculties of the University of Washington, The University of North Carolina, and the Virginia Commonwealth University schools of Dentistry. He has published numerous articles for scientific literature and has lectured extensively in the specialties of orthodontics and periodontics. He is a member of both the American Association of Orthodontics and the American Academy of Periodontics.
